Special Training Course ProgrammesAPPLICATION PROCESSStep 1. Review the requirements for the major you have chosen. Step 2. Complete and submit the Application form and a copy of your passport to the International Student Office in advance of the deadlines via e-mail: foreigndep@conservatory.ru or fax: +7 (812) 571-82-88. Step 3. Submit copies of the Diplomas you have: Diploma of completed secondary education (high school)/ Diploma of special higher education/ Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree/ Licentiate Degree - all of them with transcrips and translation into Russian attested by the notary. If you are an undergraduate student, submit an academic certificate translated into Russian and attested by the notary. Step 4. Inform International Student Office of the conservatory about the date of audition you have chosen. Students are strongly recommended to schedule audition appointments. Step 5. In case you need an original copy of the invitation, pay the delivery from the Conservatory to your address at the nearest DHL or Federal Express office in your home country. The address of the Conservatory: Step 6. After receiving the invitation, apply to the Russian Consulate in your home country for the visa. Step 7. When you obtain the visa, send a copy of it to the International Student Office via fax: +7 812 571 82 88, or e-mail: foreigndep@conservatory.ru Step 8. Confirm the date of your arrival to St. Petersburg and make arrangements for accommodation. See Student residence section of the site. Step 9. Make sure that you have 13 photos (3 cm x 4 cm) (3 of them black/white and matte). Step 10. Obtain medical certificates of vaccination against diphtheria, measles, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria (the latter for the students from Latin America only), medical certificates of chest X-ray and AIDS-test results, and that informing of chronic ailments, if you have any. Please note that all international students must obtain medical insurance for the whole period of their studies in Russia. Application checklist: ARRIVAL DATESDuration of Special training course is from 2 months to 10 months. International students starting classes in September must arrive no earlier than on the 1st of September. This requirement is connected with the rules of registration procedure for foreign citizens. During the academic year, international students can start their Special training course every month, except the following periods: December 01 - February10, May 01 - July 15. Please keep in mind that students can enter Russia on the grounds of the invitation from the conservatory no later than 15 days before their visa expires. |
