Diploma Course ProgrammesAPPLICATION PROCESSStep 1. Choose the Graduate programme. The full list of Graduate programmes available can be found in the Graduate Course Programmes section of our site. Step 2. Review the requirements for the specialty you have chosen. Step 3. Complete and submit Application form and a copy of your passport to the International Student Office in advance of the deadlines via e-mail: foreigndep@conservatory.ru or fax: +7 (812) 571-82-88. Step 4. Submit a copy of your Diploma of completed secondary education (high school)/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree/Licenciate’s degree - with transcript, or an academic certificate from your university For prospective students from Hague Convention countries apostille of the diploma is required. Hague Apostille Convention countries: For prospective students from non Hague Convention countries – full legalization of the diplomas is required. The diploma must be legalized in your country and the document must be verified in the Russian Consulate in your country. Please note that upon arrival you will be asked to have credential evaluation of your diploma & transcript. Step 5. Review the dates of audition and select the date convenient for you. Step 6. Inform International Student Office of the conservatory about the date of audition you have chosen. Students are strongly recommended to schedule audition appointments. Step 7. In case you need an original of the invitation, pay the delivery from the Conservatory to your address at the nearest DHL or Federal Express office in your home country. The address of the Conservatory is Step 8. After receiving the invitation, apply to the Russian Consulate in your home country for the visa. Step 9. When you obtain the visa, send a copy of it to the International Student Office. Step 10. Confirm the date of your arrival to St. Petersburg and make arrangements for accommodation. See Student residence section. Step 11. Make sure that you have 13 photos (3 cm x 4 cm) (3 of them black/white and matte). Step 12. Obtain medical certificates of vaccination against diphtheria, measles, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria (the latter for students from Latin America only), medical certificates of chest X-ray and AIDS-test results, and that informing of chronic ailments, if you have any. Please note that all international students must have medical insurance for the whole period of their studies in Russia. DATES OF AUDITIONDates for audition for applicants who wish to enter the Preparatory Department of the Conservatory in fall semester 2010/2011 academic year: 01 – June 25, 2010 All auditions are held at the St. Petersburg Conservatory of music. Please keep in mind that students can enter Russia on the grounds of the invitation from the conservatory no later than 15 days before their visa expires.
